We're Wade and Stacie, a husband-and-wife crew living aboard Fika. Originally from Colorado and now empty nesters, we've set out to embrace a life of freedom and adventure, exploring the beauty of God's creation and visiting places most people only read about.

We're high school sweethearts (go Arvada West Wildcats, class of 1995!). We got married in July 1997, and in April 1999 we were blessed with twin sons, Austin and Allan, the best kids anyone could ever hope for. In 2027 we'll celebrate our 30th anniversary aboard Fika.

Stacie holds the rank of Admiral aboard Fika, and graciously allows Wade to be the Captain. He knows he's a lucky man.

For now Fika lives on a mooring in Monterey while we finish her refit. After that, the plan is to literally sail around the world, but we aren't in a hurry to complete that journey. We want to see everything there is to see along the way!

We keep coming back to one simple idea: in twenty years we'd be more upset by the things we didn't do than by the things we did.
